What is Podcasting? It is the process of creating a MP3 file, uploading the feed to an RSS enabled website. Now people can grab the RSS feed and insert it into a podcatcher and download at a set time each day. How can I do it? All you need is a microphone and either a recording device or just your computer. Find a topic that you have an interest in. Once completed just upload the file and point to it from your website. How to listen? Firstly you will need to download a podcatcher. Once you have found the right one for you head along to ipodder directory and select from the wide range of categories. Grab the RSS feed and paste it into your application. |
